Belugas

For each tote bag sold, $ 8 will be donated to GREMM for the continuation of the Saint-Laurent Beluga Project research program, carried out in partnership with private and university research laboratories. This research program aims to better understand belugas in order to better protect them.
In 2014, the beluga was given the sad status of “endangered” species. They do not are more than 900 to live the Saint-Laurent. There were five times more in the early 1900s.
The straps are made from plastic waste collected in the oceans: fishing nets, bottles and other recyclable materials. This waste is crushed, melted and converted into a new 100% recycled and recyclable material.
